This seemed to install okay but after rebooting and checking the Device Manager Universal Serial Bus Controllers On checking the web I downloaded an 'RestoreEHomeInfraredReceiverUSBCIRWindows7.bat file and saved it on the C Hard Drive then installed it. This I have done without any difference noted. Plenty of USB hubs, etc.Ī further follow up from Diamond says to use the USB ports on the computer rather than a USB hub. On checking the Device Manager I do not appear to have a 'E-Home Infrared Receiver' listed under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers listing. The instructions from their site says to locate on the Device Manager 'E-Home Infrared Receiver' device under the 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers" then select the update driver option and install it using the supplied disc. Its screen doesn't show anything when there is a video input. The unit that captures the video is called EZ Grabber, and this appears on the screen, but this is as far as it goes.
